Tenancy Verification

Tenancy Verification is part of a growing array of LoCTA Services provided to Local Government to further combat fraud and overpayments.

Working in partnership with credit agencies the Tenancy Verification Service is designed to assess the likely residence of the stated tenant and look for cases that may need to be investigated.

The Tenancy Verification Service provides evidence to support simple cases such as the tenant may be living at another address or more detailed cases with unauthorised tenants also present at the address. Information is also shown on any other individuals that are found to be associated with the property to highlight inappropriate succession or sub-letting.
